What does it cost?
There is no better value than a membership in the PTA! It costs each member only a few dollars a year. Dues are three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25), one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) of your PTA dues goes to the Maryland PTA and one dollar and seventy-five cents ($1.75) of which goes to the National PTA. This helps provide programs and services needed in our state. In return, the PTA you belong to is provided with publications, programs and services. The balance of your dues goes to your local PTA Council and your local PTA. You have a voice in legislative issues of concern to you through the help of other PTA volunteers and the professional PTA staff in the office of Governmental Relations in Washington, DC. You have access to the Maryland and National PTA's professional employees and elected leaders.
